We're using January to do a little fashion refresh for the coming seasons and urge you to do the same. Feel a little lighter and fall in love with your clothes again...
Wardrobe Wrestle
Fed up wrestling with your wardrobe and rotating the same few items? Wardrobes bursting at the seams are both a distraction and a drain on your time. The time is nigh to set aside a few hours to play dress-up and be brutal.
To earn a coveted place in your wardrobe each piece needs to be either beautiful or practical and should make you look and feel good. Think minimal - colour coordinate... it may change your life.
"Modern Minimalism is about simplicity, whether quality or trend, longevity is the key to a consciously curated wardrobe" we couldn't agree more Sophie Benson, one of our fave style bloggers - check out some of her fab sustainable fashion posts and make your wardrobe work for you.
Style Challenge
Pick a piece from your wardrobe (not pants) and get creative. Wear your staple piece for the whole week, mix and match with other items and wear it a differently every day. You might surprise yourself and it will reset the way you think about your clothes.
Recycle and Repurpose
Every year an estimated 300,000 tonnes of used clothing goes to landfill in the UK, so dispose of anything that doesn't fit or flatter in the following sustainable ways...
Donate - good quality clothing to your favourite charity, avoiding landfill and helping a good cause = feel good factor
Clothes Swap - a good excuse for a soiree and you get to go home with a new outfit = win
Recycle - let Clothes Aid collect your unwanted clothes and benefit UK charities. Or locate your nearest Clothing Bank.
Sell - we're over Christmas and onto the Alps - who doesn't need the readies for that extra pair of ski goggles - try a little eBay for the fondue kitty.
Check out the fab Love Your Clothes website for lots of lovely tips on upcycling and make do and mend; salvaging our favourite finds.
Now you've achieved all this you can go right ahead and feel smug until at least March - enjoy.
Keep your peepers open for our new launches coming soon!

The morning after the night before
After the party, comes the debrief. In winter the sun sits lower in the sky, so it's important to shade those party worn eyes from both the sun and the paparazzi. Rock up in your vintage sunglasses and you're ready to face the world...

Go big or go home
We can thank the fabulous Jackie O for putting oversized sunglasses on the fashion map and we simply can't get enough of supersized sunnies...
We can thank the fabulous Jackie O for putting oversized sunglasses on the fashion map and we can't get enough.
Thing is, they do a pretty perfect job of keeping the sun's rays out of our peepers due to their glorious size - we love a multi-tasker... make a statement and shield our eyes, what's not to love?
All things 70s are firmly back in favour and it's got our vote - from Biba to Halston to the sublime Bianca Jagger, incorporating hippy chic to glam rock and disco. Translation for 2017 means modern metallics, high waists, pattern mania, fringing and of course our beloved bell bottoms... you know you want to.
Our version takes inspiration from two of our favourite Carries - Bradshaw and Fisher, strong independant women, 'carrie-ing' off a strong statement eye, 70s style, take a peep below.
Up the volume with original vintage 70s oversize sunglasses by Polaroid, a french made acetate frame with smokey grey and blush tones. We've added sparkly new, grey blue graduated tinted lenses, with anti reflection coating for a little added UV protection.
So if you're looking for a little drama, in your closet not your life, you came to the right place.

Coral ... shades of summer
The sister of blush and part of the new neutrals family, Coral slots right in amongst our wardrobe staples. It's our go-to colour and summer in a shade...
The sister of blush and part of the new neutrals family, coral slots right in amongst our wardrobe staples. Summer in a shade, this pretty colour casts pink overtones and orange undertones, calming down high energy colours and adding a pop to whites and denims.
Easy to wear and flattering to almost every skin tone, coral looks perfect with sunkissed skin (from a bottle or with a dollop of UV protection of course) - it's our go-to for summer lips, nails and sunglasses.
Our version is a beautifully made, original late 60s sumptuous optyl frame, by Italian brand Correna. Oversize vintage style with delicate peaches and cream tones and sculpted detail.
Coral was crying out for peach tinted lenses, we've added an anti reflection coating to give a little extra in the UV department. See them modelled by the delectable Caroline Jones from Knickers Models Own.
Best of all - now you can win your very own pair of vintage sunglasses in our competition to take home Coral - check out our Peep meets Knickers Competition and enter here.
Good luck peeps!

We've got our eye on The Unfairground with it's 'mind-altering zone for subversive, radical, art and music. Infused with anarchist spirit and satirical wit, the act of repurposing both ideas and salvaged material, turns the unethical cycle of consumerism and wastefulness into a virtuous one'.

Made from a combination of acetate and metal, this German made frame (model 183) gloriously renamed Candy (by Peep), pays homage to the colour of the moment and effortlessly nails this trend.
We added rose-pink tinted lenses to these sunglasses to up the style stakes - why see life any other way?
