Classic vintage 1980s bright gold plate open link glasses chain by Monet (signed). Midweight piece, with faceted link and side groove, signed with the Monet tag. Original clasp and additional gold bolt clasp with black/gold rubber loops.

Monet produced jewellery from the 1930s in America becoming known for its high quality couture costume jewellery, even working with YSL in the 70s, Monet estate jewellery has become highly collectible. A lot of costume jewellery was made between the 1950s and the 1980s, where they triple plated metal finishes, which is why they don’t tarnish easily and look so great today.

Can be worn as a necklace or glasses chain.
