Decadent vintage 80s 22ct gold plate caged ball link glasses chain by Monet (signed). Good weight piece, with gold balls encaged in shaped links, signed with the Monet tag. Original clasp and additional gold plate lobster clasp with black/gold rubber loops.

Monet produced jewellery from the 1930s in America becoming known for its high quality couture costume jewellery, even working with YSL in the 70s, Monet estate jewellery has become highly collectible. A lot of costume jewellery was made between the 1950s and the 1980s, where they triple plated metal finishes, which is why they don’t tarnish easily and look so great today.
