This new old stock frame is made in France in a striking design of black metal with double bridge and stylised black acetate brow bar and tips. Perfect to remake as sunnies or opticals, just add lenses.

In the late 1930s American Optical was challenged by the Army Air Corps to produce a new sunglass, one that would provide comfort, quality optics and protect pilots from blinding glare. In the 1970s Skymaster sunglasses went on to produce sunglasses that Nasa took to the moon - these frames have a whole lot of history.
